We work 24 hours, 7 days a week with people in housing crisis or who are
facing sleeping rough, to advise, support and refer with the aim of enabling a life
off the streets.
The Crisis Service provides crisis support for people in need of accommodation. However it’s often more than a bed that a person needs
and ongoing support and follow up is vital to maintain a life off the streets. People can drop into the Crisis Centre 24 hours a day or contact the Crisis
Line for immediate help.
We provide expert assistance in resolving crisis as quickly as possible and maintain contact to help start work on the underlying reasons for their crisis. It’s complex and people have multiple needs, however we will work at the person’s pace and on their terms to plan a sustainable route out of crisis and
to get off the streets once and for all.
We don’t wait for people to come to us – we go to them. Our Crisis Centre is round the clock but we understand that for some people going to a building can be difficult. For this reason, we do street based outreach every day, walking the streets to find people most in need of help and support.
Our partners, The Rock Trust, provide the same expert advice and support to young people aged 16-25 years. People can access the drop-in direct or come to the Crisis Centre and we will put them in touch.
